Group of five to Captain Arthur F. O’Malley, 2nd Ammunition Train, 2nd Division: Silver Star, numbered “31`24” and hand-engraved “Arthur F./O’Malley”, marked “BB&B/Phila” on the suspension; World War I Victory Medal, clasps “Aisne-Marne”, “St. Mihiel”, “Meuse-Argonne” and “Defensive Sector”, with a silver citation star (with two ribbon bars – one with four bronze stars, one with one silver citation star); New York Conspicuous Service Cross, 1917-1919, numbered “No.2338”, marked by Tiffany; New York World War I Service Medal, numbered “89979”; France Verdun Medal, Vernier design, with ribbon bar. With an American Legion lapel pin “1948”.

Arthur F. O’Malley was born on 23 September 1890 and died 19 February 1971. The 2nd Division history confirms his Silver Star citation for Thiacourt, France. After the war, O’Malley was a Democratic Party leader in Valley Stream, Nassau County, New York.
