World War I Purple Heart, split brooch, numbered “22751″ and hand-engraved “Emil H. Fornof”.

Emil Henry Fornof was born in 1893 and died in April 1961. He is buried in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. He served with of Company B, 145th Infantry, 37th Division. He was slightly wounded on 20 September 1918 in the Meuse-Argonne operations around Montfaucon.
