Venezuela. Order of the Carabobo Campaign. Silvered; no brooch.

On 24 June 1821, Simon Boliver and General Jose Antonio Paez led approximately 6500 men against the Spanish forces in Venezuela. Bolivar’s cavalry crushed the Spanish center while Paez’ men flanked the Spanish. With the Spanish defeat, the independence of Venezuela was assured.
