Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, hand-engraved “No.71275/Samuel L./Cobb/1st Enlistment/1920-1922″. The ribbon is resewn at the brooch; pendant has staining on both sides.

Cobb served for four years at Mare Island and in Hawaii.
