Spanish War Service, “13428” (Repp, 14th PA Inf)

Spanish War Service Medal, numbered “13428”. Some dark spots on the pendant.

Issued to Private Charles Edward Repp, Company B, 14th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. Repp enlisted 27 April 1898 and was mustered out with his company on 28 February 1899. The regiment remained in Pennsylvania until late 1898, when it moved to Summerville, South Carolina. Repp died 28 August 1935 and is buried in the Los Angeles National Cemetery.
