Second Nicaragua Campaign Medal, Navy, numbered “M.No.7693″ and engraved on the edge “T. R. King – F2c [M.No.7693] USS Tulsa”; in its original matching-numbered box with “Talmadge R. King/380-34-55″ written on the lid. In an outer mailing box addressed to the Commanding Officer, USS Calvert (APA 32), and postmarked in April 1954. With boxed miniature medal by Gemsco.
In March 1942, King was a Motor Machinist’s Mate aboard USS Maryland. t the end of the war, he was a chief motor machinist aboard USS Wisconsin. Talmadge Randolph King died died in 1960 and is buried in Jennings, Florida.
