No “James Wallace” appears on Army or Air Force casualty records for 14 May 1951, so it is possible that Wallace’s wound was minor and not reported through the casualty reporting system. After a major push on Seoul, the North Koreans resumed their offensive on 15 May and the US Eighth Army counterattacked a few days later.
