Nevada. Third Class Marksman Badge, “Forman Medal”

Nevada. Third Class Marksman Badge (Forman Medal). A silver and enamel badge with a target in the center, with “NNG” on a scroll above the target and “Third Class” below that. On a scroll at the bottom of the badge is engraved “87%” (now mostly worn or polished away). The reverse is engraved “Forman/Medal” and has a vertical pin.

Early Nevada National Guard awards of any type are rarely seen.
