Navy Good Conduct Medal, wrap brooch, hand-engraved “Michael/James/Ralph/Costanzo/1934”, with bar “1938 [Michael/James/Ralph/Costanza” (ribbon tattered, pendant reversed). With an oval Navy dog tag (T-43), a chief petty officer’s cap badge and a chief motor machinist’s rating (mothing).

In December 1941, Chief Motor Machinist’s Mate Costanzo was aboard USS Lindenwald (LSD-6), which saw action in the Central Pacific, Philippines and Okinawa campaigns.
