Missouri. St. Louis Mexican Border Service Medal, named “Sgt F.B. Homann”. The ribbon shows light age.

The St. Louis city directory of 1916 lists Homann as a musician. Missouri Adjutant General’s records show he served as a Musician Second Class in the 1st Missouri Infantry Regiment, which mustered in to federal service on 26 June 1916 and served at Laredo, Texas. Homann does not appear on the roll for a federal Mexican Border Service Medal.
