Mexican Border Service Medal, numbered “17800”, Issued to Captain (later Major) Owen M. Copelin, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Copelin (1862-1936) was the City Treasurer of Harrisburg for 12 years and Inspector of Small Arms in the 8th Regiment, Pennsylvania National Guard. He was active in numerous fraternal organizations as well.
