Medal Commemorating the Defeat of Sultan Tippoo, 1792, bronze, 48mm. The obverse depicts the uniformed bust of Marquis Cornwallis; the reverse depicts Cornwallis receiving two sons of Sultan Tippoo as hostages.  Some corrosion spots on the reverse.
