With an extract from the 91st Annual Report of the Society (July 1930): “Silver medal and Certificate of Thanks each to P.C.66 David Prendergast, Ernest Albert Boyd and George Ravenscroft Herring for rescuing a girl (16) in danger of drowning in the River Mersey near Egremont Ferry, on 18th July 1929″ A few edge nicks on the medal.
