King’s African Rifles Distinguished Conduct Medal, GV (4296 Sergt K. Kotamo, 1-K.A. Rifles).

Sergeant Kotamo is not listed in Arnold’s published roll of King’s African Rifles Distinguished Conduct Medals, so it may have been a late issue. Namings from the 1920s use “K.A.Rifles” where earlier naming styles used “KAR”. There were 190 George V KAR DCMs awarded.
