Group of seven to Captain Morton Vaserberg, US Marine Corps: Navy Commendation Medal, with “V” device; Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, with two stars on the ribbon, unnamed; National Defense Service Medal, with one star on the ribbon; Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal; Vietnam Service Medal, with two stars on the ribbon; Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry, with palm (US-made); Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, with “1960- “ device (US-made). Mounted on a clutch-back bar for wear. Housed in a velvet-covered case. With an undated forwarding letter to the Commanding Officer, Base Materiel Battalion, Camp Pendleton, California, enclosing a Navy Commendation Medal for Captain Vaserberg.

Captain (later Colonel) Vaserberg was born in 1931 and died in April 2014. He enlisted in August 1950.
