Frank Cavaliere enlisted in the Regular Army in November 1917. He served in the Narragansett Bay Coast Defenses through July 1918 and then in the 50th Artillery (CAC). He served with the 50th Artillery in the AEF from October 1918 to February 1919, when he was discharged.
