Coast Guard Good Conduct Medal, hand-engraved “William E. Rivers/USCG/January 2, 1925/Apache”, with clip-on bar “USCGC Apache”, dated “January 14, 1929”. Reribboned. Polish residue on both sides,

USCGC Apache was built in 1891 as the Revenue Cutter Galveston. With a name change in 1900, Apache served in both World Wars before being scrapped in 1950. In World War II, the ship was a radio transmitter station in Australia.
