USS Samuel Chase (APA-26) was an attack transport manned by the US Coast Guard throughout World War II. She was actively involved in the landings in North Africa, Sicily, Salerno, Normandy and Southern France. She moved to the Pacific in early 1945, taking part in operations on Okinawa.
