Denmark. Small Lifesaving Medal made from a Danish coin. The obverse has the royal cypher of King Frederick VIII; the reverse has had the center erased and engraved “1910/For udvist/Tapperhed/i/Farens Stund/23-29 Oktbr” [1910 For Bravery and Standing Tall in Time of Danger 23-29 October]. With a ring suspension soldered on and a miniature-width ribbon with a button back.
