Corporal Donald W. Christy, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, was wounded in action 24 November 1951 in Korea. He was a light weapons infantryman from Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. The 7th Infantry landed at Wonsan on 20 November 1951 to cover the withdrawal of United Nations forces from the Chosen Reservoir area.
