Group of three to Sergeant William D. Reynolds, 2nd Cavalry:  Excellence in Competition Badge, Rifle, Cavalry, bronze, hand-engraved “Sergeant/William D. Reynolds/2nd Cav/1935”; Excellence in Competition Badge, Pistol, Cavalry, bronze, hand-engraved “Sgt/William D. Reynolds/MG Tr. 2nd Cav/1938”; Medal for Small Bore Colonel’s Match 1936, engraved on the reverse “3rd Place/Sgt William D. Reynolds/MG Troop/2nd Cavalry” (ribbon heavily worn).

In 1939, Sgt Reynolds won the Pershing Trophy as the high scoring individual in the National Trophy Team Rifle Match. In 1943, Master Sergeant Reynolds was stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
