Albert Emeny was born in 1875 in Framston, Suffolk, and joined the City of London Police in August 1894. He retired in 1919 and died in 1923. His name is transcribed as “Emery” in several sources. The City of London Police received 1060 of the1902 Police Coronation Medals and 1400 of the 1911 issue.
